An integrated QFD and FMEA approach to identify risky components of products

Identifying risk components is crucial to improve product quality. Failure mode and effects analysis as a useful assessment method has become prevalent application in design. However, the critical data, which contain failure causality relationships (FCRs) between modes, importance correlations among factors, customer requirements of component, are not considered. This study develops an integrated approach for identifying risky considering FCRs. First, quality function deployment established characterize under fuzzy semantics. Second, FCRs within characterized by directed network model. In this network, modes modelled vertices, edges. The values edges weighted priority numbers, weight factors optimized nonlinear programming Then, interactive internal effect external effect. Finally, real-world case wheel loader conducted demonstrate validity feasibility proposed approach. results have shown that more effective components.
